This is performance based and will require you to do a few simple things to get started. First - You will need to watch 2 minute \User Tour that explains how we work and what to do. After you see the User Tour, you can register for free. You can watch the User Tour http://www.varolo.com/village/luckyson2006 Second - When you finish the free registration, you will need to go to your email that you used and confirm your registration to start watching your ads. This email will also cover in detail more about varolo and the compensation plan http://blog.varolo.com/flash/VaroloComp.html. Third - Have fun with this, while you start watching your ads. Most of these will be from major advertisers you already see on TV (Walmart, Geico, Coke Cola, etc.). They will also mostly be 30 second advertisements. You will need to watch at least 140 ads during the week, so about 2 hours total of your your time. Our week begins on Saturday and ends the following Saturday. Each ad you watch will also enter you for a weekly jackpot that is given at close of the week every Saturday. So the more ads you watch the better the chances for that. :) If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me here. I provide as much support as I can on there throughout the day. Also post updates, and news about upcoming promotions. Thanks again for your time, and I hope this will be as exciting for you as it has been for me
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

The first hint that her sight was deteriorating came at school.
Barbara says, "The teacher called my parents in and said she's just not seeing stuff on the page."
As the years went by, her sight only got worse. Barbara remembers, "There was like an open man hole, which I was about to go in," and the whole event was very scary.
Cells on Barbara's retina that detect light had deteriorated. Five months ago, however, that changed. She began seeing glints of light using what some are calling a 'Bionic Eye'.
Ophthalmologist Dr. Lucian Del Priore explains, "It's an artificial device that essentially stimulates the retina electronically."
First, Barbara had an operation to implant a tiny computer chip into the eye. She wears a pair of special sunglasses outfitted with a small camera that transmits images to the chip inside her eye.
Barbara's retina essentially receives electronic stimulation.
Vision researcher Dr. Aries Arditi says, "For patients who have really had no vision for years and years, these are really major milestones. We can take someone who is totally blind and turn them into someone with very, very poor vision. That's really the first time in history we've been able to do that."
Doctors caution that retraining Campbell's eye and brain to see could take years. Right now, her vision is in black and white and will never be perfect.
Barbara says, "My number one hope is to see colors again. Divine bovine has cross on his head

Dubbed ‘Moses’ by neighborhood kids, young calf inspires hope, headlines.
Moses the calf was born this month with a distinct white marking on his forehead. “We’re going to make sure he gets a good life and doesn’t get eaten,” said one of his owners.
The month: December. The place: A humble farm. The setting: Just perfect for an auspicious event.
On a cold, dark night in the wee hours of the morning, a baby calf was born. His nurturing mother, Fuzzy, welcomed him into the world by licking and licking his head — an act that obscured a special detail about the little guy that would soon generate headlines all over the planet.
“When we first saw the calf ... the mother had licked the hair and it was all sideways and we thought it was a regular calf,” recalled Connecticut dairy farmer Brad Davis. “Then a little later on in the morning we went in and there it was, standing right out. It was really quite a sight.”
“It” was none other than the distinctive markings of a white cross on the newborn calf’s forehead. The image had quite an effect on Davis, Davis’ relatives and friends and families all around the dairy farm.
“The first night that he was here, when we shut the lights out that night late at night, the only thing you could see in here was that cross showing in the dark,” Davis told the local Norwich Bulletin newspaper. “It was really quite a feeling. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, actually.”
Davis’ 70-year-old father, Andrew Gallup Davis, told the Bulletin that he’s never seen a pattern like this on any of the thousands of calves he’s encountered in his lifetime.
“It’s not one you look at and you try to make something out of it,” he said. “It’s pronounced.”
Neighborhood children have become enamored with the little calf with the special marking on his forehead. They decided to bestow upon him a biblical — albeit Old Testament — name: Moses.
The calf is living in Sterling, a small Connecticut town on the Rhode Island border, on Buttercup Farm, a dairy operation Davis co-owns with Megan Johnson.
Johnson said Fuzzy, Moses’ mother, is a red-and-white Holstein cow, and Ferdinand, his father, is a Jersey. Both Fuzzy and Ferdinand have the reputation of being exceptionally friendly animals. Davis thinks the pair produced an exceptional calf.
“He’s got a different disposition from other calves. You can see it in his eyes,” Davis said. “He has a very kind look in his eyes. Like he has something he wants to say to you.”

people have been seeing religious images in the most unlikely places in recent weeks — and not just on the heads of baby calves. A sampling:

* Also this month, a couple in the Fort Worth, Texas, area said one of their hens laid an egg bearing the image of a cross on it. The egg was unusual — not smooth like all the others — and it had an indentation on one end with what appeared to be a cross. The couple, Pam and Tracy Norrell, said they believe it’s a sign of encouragement during the holiday season. (They added that eating the egg is not an option.)
* Late last month, a Massachusetts woman who recently separated from her husband and had her hours cut at work said an image of Jesus Christ she discovered on the bottom of her iron reassured her that “life is going to be good.” The woman, Mary Jo Coady, said she planned to store the special iron in a closet and buy a new one.

* In October, an Ikea furniture store in Glasgow, Scotland, made headlines when some shoppers thought they saw the face of Jesus on the wooden door of the men’s restroom. “It takes you by surprise. It is really clear in the wood,” one shopper told the U.K.’s Telegraph newspaper. “I was only heading to the toilet and found God. My wife thought he looked like Gandalf from ‘Lord of the Rings,’ but it is definitely more like the Turin Shroud.”
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

She was going to the White House for the Obamas' first state dinner. Creating the perfect hair and makeup for the glamorous blonde for such a special occasion would take time, of course. But then there were the cameras, the takes and retakes.

The Northern Virginia socialite was being taped by a production crew for Bravo cable channel's forthcoming "The Real Housewives of Washington."

"It was a lot of schmoozing with the staff," James Packard-Gomez, CEO of Erwin Gomez Salon, said Thursday, explaining why the hair and makeup session lasted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The salon was abuzz because Michaele and her husband, Tareq, were among the 320 VIPs invited to join the president and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. "They were asking, 'So, what do you think of them getting invited to this?' "
The stylist doing Michaele's hair asked to see the White House invitation, Packard-Gomez said. "She starts rummaging through her purse, and then said, 'It must be out in the car.' "

Would the film crews get into the White House, too? " 'We tried,' " he says she told them, " 'but they wouldn't let them in.' "

International uproar
But the White House says there never was an invitation. Somehow the aspiring reality-TV stars managed to get themselves in Tuesday night and were photographed with Vice President Biden and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, causing an international uproar about security at the executive mansion.

The Secret Service said the Salahis crashed the party and that the agency is investigating how the couple penetrated presidential security. The Salahis' attorney, Paul W. Gardner, posted a statement on the couple's Facebook page: "My clients were cleared, by the White House, to be there. More information is forthcoming."

The Salahis did not respond to e-mails Thursday. But their publicist, Mahogany Jones, said in an e-mail: "We will be addressing this specifically with several media platforms." Meanwhile, CNN announced that the now-famous couple would appear on "Larry King Live" on Monday night.

Bravo and the local production company it has contracted, Half Yard Productions, said the production team was aware that the Salahis were headed to the state dinner and took the couple's word that they were on the guest list. A film crew followed the Salahis on the drive to the White House but did not attempt to follow them onto the grounds.
Camera crew filmed White House crashers
Stars attend White House state dinner
Once again, first lady's fashion sense dazzles

NBC News anchor Brian Williams, an invited guest at the dinner, told the "Today" show that he noticed the couple's SUV being turned away from the East Gate entrance. A camera crew was with them, and a woman touched up the Salahis' makeup and hair, Williams said.

It is still unclear whether the couple managed to meet or be photographed with President Obama, Michelle Obama or the guest of honor. Guests went through a formal receiving line in the Blue Room before dinner, but a White House official said Thursday that he did not know if the couple went through the line. India's embassy did not respond to a call for comment.

This is not the first time the Salahis have represented themselves as power players: On the couple's joint Facebook account are pictures of them in the first family's glass-enclosed viewing area after the inaugural concert at the Lincoln Memorial.
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

A leading bioethicist, however, expressed skepticism that the man was truly communicating on his own.
Car-crash victim Rom Houben was diagnosed as being in a vegetative state but appears to have been conscious the whole time, doctors here said. An expert using a specialized type of brain scan that was not available in the 1980s says he finally realized Houben was conscious and provided him with the equipment to communicate.
Assisted by a speech therapist who rapidly moved his finger letter by letter along a touch-screen keyboard, Houben told AP Television News that years of being unable to move or communicate left him feeling "alone, lonely, frustrated, but also blessed with my family."
The therapist, Linda Wouters, told APTN that she can feel Houben guiding her hand with gentle pressure from his fingers, and that she feels him objecting when she moves his hand toward an incorrect letter.
"It was especially frustrating when my family needed me. I could not share in their sorrow. We could not give each other support," Houben wrote during the interview at the 't Weyerke institute in eastern Belgium.
"Just imagine. You hear, see, feel and think but no one can see that. You undergo things. You cannot participate in life."
Arthur Caplan, a bioethics professor at the University of Pennsylvania, said he is skeptical of Houben's ability to communicate after seeing video of his hand being moved along the keyboard.
"That's called 'facilitated communication,'" Caplan said. "That is ouija board stuff. It's been discredited time and time again. When people look at it, it's usually the person doing the pointing who's doing the messages, not the person they claim they are helping."
Caplan also said the statements Houben allegedly made with the computer seem unnatural for someone with such a profound injury and an inability to communicate for decades.
Asked how he felt when his consciousness was discovered, Houben responded through the aide that: "I especially felt relief. Finally be able to show that I was indeed there."
"Just like with a baby, it happens with a lot of stumbling," he wrote.
The doctor who discovered that Houben had been wrongly diagnosed said that he is re-examining dozens of other cases.
Dr. Steven Laureys said he has discovered some degree of consciousness using state-of-the-art equipment in other patients but won't say how many. He looks at about 50 cases from around the world a year but none are as extreme as that of Rom Houben, who was fully conscious inside a paralyzed body. Many center on the fine distinction between a vegetative state and minimal consciousness.
He said Tuesday that: "It is very difficult to tell the difference."
His studies showed that some 40 percent of patients with consciousness disorders are wrongly given a diagnosis of a vegetative state.
"It is clearly unacceptable. It is four times out of ten that they think the patient is in a vegetative state but in reality he is minimally conscious," Laureys said.
Patients from Europe and around the world brought to his center in Liege for a second opinion go through and PET scans, MRI's and a battery of other tests during a weeklong reassessment.
"Sometimes patients fly in and there is all this hope. But after the tests we have to confirm they are the opposite case from Rom and that there is no error," Laureys said. "But that too helps the family accept reality."
In Belgium alone there are some 350 patients diagnosed as in a vegetative state, he said.
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

Poultry, red meat, dairy, eggs, grains and certain fruits and vegetables, such as bananas, watermelon, avocado, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, garlic and onions all cause hydrogen sulfide buildup. There are only about 700 confirmed cases worldwide — about one in every 2 million births. The condition, which causes bone to form from soft tissue, ultimately confines its victims to permanent immobility before taking their lives, usually by the victims’ 40s.

“Every little bump, every surgery leads to this change in the tissue where it really becomes bone,” Dr. Nancy Snyderman, NBC’s chief medical editor, told TODAY’s Ann Curry as Josh snuggled against his mom in the show’s New York studio. “The concern is that your body can become frozen with bone.”

Although aware of the dangers from bumps and bruises, Josh’s dad, Dave Scoble, told NBC News that he allows the boy to play and be as normal as possible while he can still move around.

“As much time as he has left, I want him to know joy,” Dave Scoble said. “I’d rather have him look back and say, ‘I had fun,’ rather than ‘My parents didn’t let me do anything.’ ”

A bad mistake
Stacy Scoble and her husband, Dave, knew something was wrong as soon as Josh was born. His big toes were deformed and he had hearing problems. These are symptoms of FOP — but the condition is so rare that his pediatricians didn’t immediately recognize them.

At about 3 weeks of age, Josh developed a fever and doctors performed a spinal tap to rule out sepsis. The spinal tap caused a tumor to form. Fearing it was cancerous, doctors opened up his back to perform a biopsy.
It was the worst thing they could have done. The surgery prompted Josh’s body to turn tissue in his back to bone, fusing his back rigid.

Since then, Josh’s body has slowly continued to turn against him. He can still run and play, but he has trouble lifting his arms and recently he has begun to have difficulty moving his neck.

“It’s very difficult to know he might not be able to move completely,” Stacy Scoble told Curry. “It’s hard for him to reach his arms up. His entire back is fused.”
All boy
Tired from having gotten up so early to be on the show, Josh yawned and lazed against his mom, behavior that his dad said was unusual.
“He’s usually running around — like a boy,” Dave Scoble said. “He’s the type of kid that when he smiles, everything’s OK. He just makes everybody’s life a little better.”

While the Scobles try to get as much out of every day with Josh as possible, they are also working to raise awareness about FOB. For the past two years, they’ve held an annual bingo fundraiser that has brought in $100,000 for research, almost all of which is taking place at the University of Pennsylvania.

But it’s a race against time for Josh and others like him. “It’s going to take time to develop those very specific and very safe treatments that we can bring to Joshua and other children around the world,” Dr. Frederick Kaplan, who heads the university’s FOP program, told NBC News.
In the meantime, Josh soldiers on. His pediatrician, Dr. Scott Rice, remains inspired by the boy.

“Josh is an amazing young man, given all the stuff he’s had to go through, most of which is pain that I don’t think any of us can probably understand,” Rice said.

As for the Scobles, not knowing what the future holds, they are are cherishing every moment with their son.

“He’s getting to the point where it’s hard for him to get his arms around our neck to give us a hug,” his mom said.

For more information about Josh and how you can donate to efforts to find a cure for FOP, the disease that is turning his muscles to bone.
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

Colo. - A 6-year-old boy was found hiding at home Thursday, hours after the runaway flight of his family's experimental balloon riveted the nation and led to a frantic search by authorities who feared the child was aboard the craft.
More than two hours after the balloon gently touched down in a field with no sign of the boy, Sheriff Jim Alderden turned to reporters during a news conference, gave a thumbs up and said 6-year-old Falcon Heene was "at the house."

"Apparently the boy’s been there the whole time. He’s been hiding in a cardboard box in the attic above the garage," Alderden said.

"I don't want to conjecture but this is not first time we are searching for a kid and once he realizes everyone is looking for him he hides because he's afraid of getting in trouble."

One of boy's older brothers had initially told authorities he saw his brother climb into a box compartment attached to the bottom of the balloon before it became untethered and took off.

"He was very adamant. That was his consistent story," the sheriff said.

The family, which appeared twice on a reality television show about households that swap wives, spoke to reporters outside their home after being reunited with Falcon.

Scolded, then missing
The boy's father, Richard Heene, said the family was tinkering with the balloon Thursday morning and that he scolded Falcon for getting inside a compartment on the craft. He said Falcon's brother had seen him inside the compartment before it took off and that's why they thought he was in there when it launched.
But the boy fled to the attic at some point after the scolding and was never in the balloon during its 50-mile journey through two counties. "I yelled at him. I'm really sorry I yelled at him," Heene said as he hugged his son during a news conference.

"I was in the attic and he scared me because he yelled at me," Falcon said. "That's why I went in the attic."

During his time in hiding, Falcon said he played with his toys and took a nap. He said he finally got up because he was bored.

Richard Heene adamantly denied the notion that the whole thing was a big publicity stunt. "That's horrible after the crap we just went through. No."

The sheriff said he would meet with investigators on Friday to see if the case warranted further investigation.

"As this point there's no indication that this was a hoax," Alderden said.
The discovery of the boy marked a bizarre end to a saga that started when the giant silvery balloon floated away from the family's yard Thursday, sparking a frantic rescue operation that involved military helicopters and briefly shut down Denver International Airport.

The balloon's two-hour flight played out live on television, captivating viewers across the country. The balloon rotated slowly in the wind, tipping precariously at times, during its journey before coming down in a dirt field in neighboring Weld County, roughly 50 miles away from where it took off.

Deputies rushed to the scene and corralled and deflated the balloon but found no sign of the boy. There were fears the box compartment had separated from the main apparatus during its flight. Several people reported seeing something fall from the craft while it was in the air.
With Falcon nowhere in sight, investigators frantically searched the ground along the balloon's path.

Flying saucer?
The boy's family had been building a helium-balloon craft that was kept tethered in the backyard of their home. The craft, which resembled a silver flying saucer, was approximately 20 feet across by 5 feet high.
On Thursday morning, Falcon was playing outside with one of his two older brothers when the older boy said he saw the younger one go into a box at the bottom of the balloon, said Cathy Davis of the sheriff's department.

Kevin Kuretich, of the Colorado Division of Emergency Management, said the craft had some kind of electric power unit which was run by double-C batteries. He said the balloon did seem to be big enough to carry a 6-year-old.

The craft somehow became loose and the balloon took off. It was airborne for more than two hours and glided through two counties.

"This balloon was never meant to actually carry anybody. It was just a family project they were working on," a Fort Collins police spokesperson told reporters.

Richard Heene said the balloon apparently "wasn't tethered properly" but it was unclear if the release was accidental.

'Big round balloonish thing'
Several people in the neighborhood saw the aircraft floating over their homes, and some snapped pictures.

Bob Licko, 65, said he was leaving home when he heard commotion in the backyard. He said he saw two boys on the roof with a camera, commenting about their brother.

"One of the boys yelled to me that his brother was way up in the air," Licko said.

He said the boy's mother seemed distraught and that the boy's father was running around the house.

"We were sitting eating, out looking where they normally shoot off hot air balloons," said another neighbor, Lisa Eklund. "My husband said he saw something. It went over our rooftop. Then we saw the big round balloonish thing, it was spinning."
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

Colo. - A family's runaway experimental balloon aircraft crash-landed in a field after floating away from home for about two hours, but there was no sign of a 6-year-old boy authorities thought had been inside.

The bizarre scene played out live on television. The balloon rotated slowly in the wind, tipping precariously at times during its journey, before coming down in a field in Weld County, miles away from where it began its journey.

Deputies rushed to the scene but found no sign of the boy. Authorities feverishly searched for the child on the ground, including in the neighborhood where he lives.
The boy's family had been building an experimental aircraft that had a large helium balloon attached to it at their home, KUSA-TV reported. The aircraft, which resembled a flying saucer, was approximately 20 feet by 5 feet and had a foil top.

On Thursday morning, according to the family and officials, the boy got onto the aircraft and it came loose from a tether. Larimer County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Eloise Campanella said she was told the boy climbed into the access door and the device took off.

Several people in the neighborhood saw the aircraft floating over their homes and some snapped pictures.

"We were sitting eating, out looking where they normally shoot off hot air balloons. My husband said he saw something. It went over our rooftop. Then we saw the big round balloonish thing, it was spinning," said neighbor Lisa Eklund.
Television news helicopters also tracked the craft, beaming the precarious flight live to viewers.

Officials scrambled to figure out how to bring down the craft, believing it was carrying the boy. The craft floated for about two hours before coming down on its own.

The boy's father, Richard Heene, is an amateur scientist, according to a 2007 Denver Post article on weather chasers. He joined a retired TV weatherman, Scott Stevens, to form a Fort Collins-based weather-research team they called The Science Detectives.
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

The classes attract people who don’t usually exercise, along with gym members bored by running on treadmills.
Some of these moves such as the hip swivels and some of the kicks should not be attempted by those with a history of major injuries or joint problems, and may be physically exhausting for someone out of shape or significantly overweight. However, the good news is for those who have minor issues or just need to work up to a full workout, the Bollywood Dance Workout does have many easy-to-do hip hop, yoga, and belly dance-inspired steps.
Those who want to do a little, some, or a lot can find the option for them when using The Bollywood Dance Workout to just dance their way to a better body.

this is the opportunity to visit my blog.

Owen Lovejoy of Kent State University.
Study dates skeleton found in 1994 back 4.4 million yearsA hominid skeleton found in 1994 and dating back 4.4 million years has cast doubt on long-held theories of evolution.

"Ardi," a 110-pound, 4-foot female found in Ethiopia is a million years older than Lucy, previously believed to be the earliest skeleton of a human ancestor.

A study of Ardi shows she was of a species that could walk upright and spent little time in the trees. This find provides evidence that chimps and humans evolved from some common ancestor that existed 6 to 7 million years ago, scientists say, but that each evolved and changed separately along the way.

“This is not that common ancestor, but it’s the closest we have ever been able to come,” Tim White, director of the Human Evolution Research Center at the University of California, Berkeley, told the Associated Press.
this is the opportunity to visit my blog.
